1. Who is responsible for your information
SLK Projects (“SLK Projects”, “we”, “us”) is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website. - Contact and enquiry details — your name, email, company, budget range and the message you send via our contact or quote forms.
- Booking details if you schedule a call through our scheduling provider.
- Order details if you purchase a product, processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical and usage data (such as device, browser and pages viewed) where analytics are enabled, used in aggregate to improve the site.
4. Why we use your information (lawful basis)
- To respond to your enquiries and provide quotes.
- To deliver services and products you have requested.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To comply with our legal and accounting obligations.
We process your information on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate business interests, and compliance with the law, as applicable.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers (operators) needed to run our business — for example, website hosting, scheduling (Calendly), payment processing (Paystack), email and, where enabled, analytics. These providers process information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Cross-border transfers
Some of our providers may process information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information receives a comparable level of protection, as required by POPIA.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data appropriately.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights under POPIA
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your information.
- Object to certain processing, and withdraw consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
